This is not just a clothing brand. It's the story of a boy who had nothing, and everything left to build.

I was born on March 3, 1995, in Equatorial Guinea.

I lost my mother when I was three years old.

I don't have many memories of her, but I do have the person who filled that void with everything she had: my great-aunt. A religious, kind-hearted woman  the kind the world doesn't make enough of. She raised me with a firm hand and an open heart. She taught me to respect others, to believe in myself, to stay humble without stopping being ambitious. Her words walk with me every single day, even though she is no longer here to hear what I have built.

With time, I lost my father too.

An orphan  of both parents. No safety net. Nothing but the values she had planted inside me.

Then I watched my grandmother begin to lose her memory, fading away little by little. The losses in the family kept coming. And she, who had resisted so much, one day could resist no more.

At 17, I was left without the person who had given me everything.

That was the moment I looked at Equatorial Guinea and understood something: the world I wanted to build was too big to fit here.

I started the process of moving to Spain.

No parents. No grandmother. Just the values she left me and a dream I had carried since childhood   to create my own fashion brand. From a very young age, I was captivated by runways, by clothes, by the power of dressing exactly as you want to be seen. I always knew I would do this one day.

In 2021, Marth Lion was born.

THE NAME

Marth is my name. Martín, in the form I chose for the brand. My identity. My signature. My story.

Lion is the Lion.

And not just any lion.

In many African families, there is a tradition that goes far beyond decoration: the Protective Lion. A relic, a symbol, a guardian passed down from generation to generation. Something the family keeps as a representation of protection, strength, and lineage.

My family had theirs.

That Lion  the one that watched over me as a child in Guinea, that protected those I loved now carries my name. Together, they form something new: Marth Lion.

The union of who I am and where I come from. The name of the man and the strength of his land.

Every time someone wears Marth Lion, that Lion keeps protecting. Now for everyone who, like me, is on their way to the table that belongs to them.

THE VALUES

Marth Lion is built on four pillars that don't come from a marketing book. They come from a good woman who taught them to a boy who needed them.

Respect  For yourself and for others. Without it, nothing else matters.

Self-belief  In who you are and where you're going, even when no one else can see it yet.

Humility  Those who truly make it don't need to announce it. It shows.

Determination Because when you have nothing left to lose, the only option is to move forward.

THE LION

The Lion was born in Africa. It asks no permission. It needs no explanation. It protects. It moves forward.

For centuries, African families have trusted the Lion as a symbol of strength, lineage, and protection. It is not a legend. It is a way of life  a heritage, a responsibility carried with pride.

That is what Marth Lion represents for every person who wears our clothes. Not a label. A declaration.

I carry within me the strength of those who came before. And I'm going where none of mine have gone before.

Today I am in the United States. Still building.

This brand is for everyone who has ever felt the way I did: different, alone, without a head start — but with something inside that refuses to go out. A certainty. A voice that says: you will get there.
